Nestled in the heart of Marple Bridge is this little gem of a restaurant, Libby’s Bread and wine. This unique eatery serves as a bakery by day and refined bistro serving delicious small plates by night!
We were first introduced to the restaurant by James’ cousin, and it is now by far my favorite place to go. The menu is made up of small plates and handmade pizzas. Each small plate is basically a mini version of a full meal.
On this visit the best dish (in my opinion) was the King Prawn and Truffle Oil Risotto. I don’t usually choose the risotto dishes but this was THE most tastiest thing I have ever eaten! For the meat lovers out there the Lamb Rump is cooked to perfection and I could have eaten about 5 portions of it!
The atmosphere is really friendly and laid back and you get can as dressed up or go as relaxed as you like! I wore a super comfy Jumpsuit from Missy Empire – available here. I absolutely love this jumpsuit, the fit is great and the suede type material is really soft. I think the colour is perfect for Summer too!
