1. Sleek Barekissed Illuminator
This was a spur of the moment purchase whilst roaming around boots. I’ve been looking for a liquid highlighter for a while, and even though I had seen great reviews on the iconic highlight I really didn’t want to spend too much, and then I found this! It comes in 4 different shades and can be used quite sheer or built up for more of an obvious highlight. Available here.
2. Maybelline Eraser Eye Concealer
This product is great for those who don’t like really heavy makeup, and even though its super lightweight it still covers up any dark circles. I have really big pores on my cheeks and this concealer is perfect as it doesn’t sink into them. Available here.
3. Benefit Porefessional Primer
I absolutely love this primer! I really don’t think there is anything that compares to it. Its a skin coloured primer that is slightly thicker than normal but it really does create the smoothest based for any foundation. Even if you don’t have issues with your pores I would still recommend this to everyone I know! Available here.
4. Urban Decay Hot Springs Hydrating Gel
This was a bit of a splurge at £22.00 but it is so worth it. The consistency of this moisturiser is so unique, as soon as you massage it into your skin it turns into a super hydrating liquid. I use it before I put my makeup on and also after I’ve taken it all off. Available here.
5. Laura Mercier Invisible Loose Setting Powder
I have only just started to use a setting powder, and I find it really does work! This product leaves such a smooth finish without being too heavy or cakey. I also use it to set my concealer on my eyes before I put my eyeshadow on and it really makes blending so much easier. Available here.
6. Maybelline Fit Me! Foundation
I have in my makeup collection some expensive foundations (Urban Decay) and some super cheap foundation (Primark). This foundation is priced at £7.99 and really does compete with the more expensive ones. It leaves such a smooth finish. The only thing is that there aren’t many shades for darker skin tones. Available here.
I’m definitely gonna have to try some of these out! Great post. 💖
